Fill out an application and return it to the Humane Society along with a copy of all IDs of adults in the house. We accept completed applications during our normal business hours, via mail, or via email. Once your application is complete, it will be looked over by our staff and adoption committee. Applications generally take a few days to process, depending on personal and veterinary reference availability. You will be contacted when a decision is made.

Our adoption fees are among the most reasonable in town and cover the following items:

• Exam by a licensed veterinarian
  
• Spay or neuter of the pet
  
• A microchip with identification number that is recognized worldwide
  
• Rabies vaccination for pets over 16 weeks old
  
• Tests and vaccinations recommended by veterinarians through the date of adoption
